Note: The Stowe Center’s 19th-century buildings are not ADA accessible, but the Stowe Center has a number of accommodations to assist visitors. Our accommodations include an ASL tour of four rooms that visitors can use on a house tour with a guide or online in place of a visit; this is designed for hearing loss as well as deaf visitors. The first floor of the Stowe House is wheelchair accessible but is unable to accommodate motorized wheelchairs. We do have a wheelchair on site if the visitor is able to move from one chair to another. We also have a virtual tour of the second floor for wheelchair visitors delivered by our staff. If you so choose, please call 860.522.9258 x317, or email tickets@stowecenter.org to speak with our team so we can enable the best experience for you and your group.
