Event Series: Spirits at Stowe

The Stowe Center for Literary Activism invites you to join Other People’s Scary Stories, on October 30th from 6 – 7:30 p.m., at the Stowe Visitor Center.

Why did Georgiana Stowe’s planchette break?

Who is Little One?

What happened at Kate Fox’s seance with the Stowes?

Who were the strange figures that Calvin Stowe frequently saw?

Other People’s Scary Stories is a FREE 21+ event and will have refreshments provided. This night of stories will be opened with a special scary story from Harriet Beecher Stowe’s life, after which guests will be invited to share other people’s scary stories. Your story can range from your mother’s ghost story to a small story of Edgar Allen Poe’s. October 30th will be a night of chilling stories to embrace the Fall spirit!
