Join us for community & conversations.
Nook Farm was a planned community that included Harriet Beecher Stowe and Mark Twain among others who valued chance meetings for good conversations in the out of doors. Our Asylum Hill Neighborhood also thrives on community and conversation.
Stowe Center, Mark Twain House & Museum, and the Asylum Hill Neighborhood Association gather for an annual Lawn Party to celebrate the strength of communities that spend time together!
Join us for this annual party that includes house tours, craft tables, community activist group information and activity tables, music, free food, and more!
Free, family friendly, and open to the public, The Nook Farm Lawn Party is held in Harriet’s Backyard–the great lawn and gardens between the Stowe Center and Twain House & Museum, and also in our various indoor buildings.
