This tour explores how 19th-century radicals and reformers—particularly women, suffragists, and Black activists—used spiritualism as a means of resistance, empowerment, and social critique. Set within a candlelit historic house, participants engage with period artifacts and writings to uncover how contact with spirits offered new ways to claim authority and imagine social change.
